Finishing off tube work
So im all done with the welding on my tube work on the rear bag mounts on my truck now what . How should i finish off the joints? Bondo, kitty hair. WHAT
I mean the joints and what should i do to smooth it all out
I've seen guys use a light coat of duraglass to help cover the welds and such, however all that is a PITA to sand out.
I would use metal glaze by evercoat,.....
that stuffs the shit!
by the way,....it looks good,......What did you use to bend the tubing?

bondo is easier to sand in the little joints but will crack over time if the joint flexes a little. duraglass and kitty hair is just "stronger" bondo with fiberglass fibers in it. but can be super hard to sand in tight spaces. my advise is bondo if the pieces are really stiff and duraglass if you think they will flex a little when driving hitting bumps and what not.
hey thanks for the feedback umm i was just looking around and i think lost cause is right im gona go with some of that metal glaze . looks good thanks again
looks sweet
