lol im an ass i just found it in ur profile sorry ,,umm but what size steel u use for the bracket and how you figure it out or is it just self explanitory
TwistedMinis   +1y
I made a paper template and cut it out of 1/4". If I did it again I would probably make a trial piece out of sheetmetal and get it perfect, then have it laser cut out of 3/8" plate and try to use 3 holes instead of 2.

Does anyone know what calipers Downey uses in their kits that have an e-brake? Its a GM caliper for sure, I think off of a FWD caddy maybe?

what about a proportioning valve ??

seth - i disnt see any pics / info on your profile about rear discs...

since toyota and the rangers have the same lug pattern would it work for the rea of a ranger as well you think seth? not that im putting it, just curious

for a ranger, cant you use the crown victoria 8.8 discs on onto a 90-92 4.0l ranger rear axle? they were 8.8s so it should be a bolt on swap. width should be about that of a yota, and might be a usable swap for toyota guys too.

I talked to someone who did the same using the stock front calipers from a yota and maxima rotors. any one else have any feed back on that? it was for a tacoma so don't know if that changes anything

I have a very good friend of mine who has a handful of bracket sets that he would like to sell. They are exact copies of the Downey bracket set only his price is cheaper.
