anybody reinforce pinch welds?

i'm finishing up my 89 toy bodydrop extravaganza and i was planning on welding some angle iron behind my pinch weld.am i gay for thinking of this and has anyone else done this?

Exactly what I'm doin on my Luv, so if someone thinks your gay for doin this I guess I am too, lol.

i was thinkin the same thing about the rockers. i should've taken it to the doors.maybe on my next truck.

I put some angle iron on the underside of my rockers thats even with the pinch weld. My pinch is folded, but it has a lot of surface area, throws a lot of sparks apparently.
