OK guys, i've learned the lasso tool a little bit, I've learned that higher res pics are needed, but I have a long way to go....... I wanted to know 2 things really for now. And being that some of you guys make a living off this, if you can't help me i won't bitch. but thanks for any input.
1) When I use the lasso tool and drop my ride onto the wheels, how do I get the background to adjust? I get one solid color

2) How do I use paint? I see these paint jobs on ya'lls and it looks killer, but mine still look like they were taken from a shitty camera.

About the lasso, start at one side of the picture (like beneath the curb). Then lasso under the bottom of the body and fenders, then to the other end of the picture. Go all the way up, then all the way over, and back down to where you started. Then to get rid of the stuff at the top, just crop it.

Do you get what Im saying?

Cool no prob man.

For paint, what I do is-select the whole car with the lasso-copy and paste it-desaturate it (ctrl+shift+U)-then go to image>adjustments>variations

then play with the fine/course slider and get the kind of color you want

#3 Graphic designs.. i wanna add a better looking graphic pinstripe, how do i create/ import something not so 2nd grade?

For interior you basically have to make it from scratch with the brush tool which is advanced.

Open the background file, get the arrow button (top left), then click and drag the background pic into the rendering pic. After that move the background pic to the very bottom on the layer pallet.

For the pinstripe, use the pen tool.
