laying 22's on my 1992 chevy suburban, do i or do i not "NEED" cudtom control arms? if yes Y? any help thanks in advance...

You don't need them. I know that this truck is running stock control arms. He had to narrow them, but that is just because the offset was a little too deep.

Yeah, dude is right^^^. You will have to notch them for frame clearance to allow enough travel. I dig that orange paint!

notch ? control arm? i did notch the "lip" on the uppers and lower... any pictures? thanks

i changed the balljoint angle on the uppers (see the sticky thread in the suspensions forum to see what that is) then cut the hump off one side of the lowers where the bumpstop went i think.... then drop spindles, and my truck would lay on 265/35/22 no troubles... i have tubulars now just for looks....
