ive done a couple toyotas and one mazda...only thing i found that was diff on the mazda was the way i did the core support...i just cut the mounts of the sides of the crossmember and dropped them instead of dropping the whole front crossmember down, then had to notch it out for the lower radiator hose...other than that...cuttin and droppin the cab and bed is pretty much the same as any mini

If you cut too far in on the floor you will get hung up on the body mounts underneath on the frame when you drop the cab down. Take some measurements from underneath first to figure out how far in you can cut in and it will save you some headache down the line. Trevor is right about how to drop the core support down by moving the mounts, its the best way to handle that part. How big of wheels are you running and is the truck a manual or auto? Anything larger than a 17 and you're in for some firewall tubbing and clutch master re-location if its a stick. Hit me up if you have anymore questions. Don't forget to check out Seths forum in the Mazda section either there is some good pix in there on how to do it to a Mazda.

I have lots of BD pictures if you have specific questions. I just emailed Mike to see if he is going to run the article I wrote on doing a traditional BD on a Mazda. If he says no I will post it here for all to see.
