driving home this evening i noticed my clutch pedal staying closer to the floor when i would go to release it. I could pull it back up with the toe of my shoe but then it stayed down after the next shift change. I checked the fluid and it looked good and full.... anyone have any other ideas as to what it could be. The clutch has felt fine till now. Thanks!

Check the slave cylinder. It's on on the top left hand side of the tranny. It's what controls the lever for the clutch. I've had it go out in Two Mazdas.

So should i try bleeding it first? What kind of price am i looking at for a slave cyl and how difficult is it to replace? Looks to be about 20 bucks on ebay. Any thing special i gotta do to put it on?

If you get under the truck and have someone press the peddle, you would probably see fluid squirt out. It's easy to replace. If remember right, it was cheap too. You shouldn't have to search for a deal on ebay.
