i have a 2000 gmc 1500 thats bagged in the front to make a long story short where i welded the bottom of the bracket on the front passanger side my frame ripped a little bit,but now the whole bracket is facing upward and touchin the top spring pocket now before anybody says it was probably a shitty weld it was not the weld that broke it was the frame i'm just wonderin if anybody "knowledgeable" can tell me what the best way to fix it might be? can i just bang the bracket straight again and put a nice fat weld on the crack in the frame? has anybody heard of this happening before?

Cut the brackets off, and place a large plate over the area, with a large hole(s) for rosette welds. Like so:

do you have pics of what it looked like before the repair?

That plate was just placed over the stock frame, it wasn't torn before. It is there to attach the shock tower to, so it doesn't tear the frame in the future. It helps spread the load.

Thats all I have as far as pictures. Nothing before. But it wasn't "repaired".
