what air brushes would everyone recommend that are quality and durable. i dont want the little $20 Harbor Freight crap.

i looked into an iwata hp-c plus and maybe a badger 360-7 cuz its more affordable. but any others to consider????

If you're a beginer and want something just to learn on then you can pick up a Paache VL kit at most any hobby shop or Micheals Crafts for around $100 Very easy to use and clean but you have to make sure to take care of the needles. The Iwata eclipse is another all around useful airbrush

Iwata HP-BCS which is almost the same as the HP-C if goof because its a suction feed and you can switch out bottles with ease. also they are skinny much llike a pencile , i recomend this one of the 2 i listed as a good beginner brush but actually its just about all you need unless you are a pro airbrush artist and require more . all the stuff i do i can get bye with my HP-BCS

i bought my son a pasche (sp?) for xmas. if you have a hobby-lobby in your area, you can print a 40% off coupon off their website! i bought him a top of line pasche w/ a compressor for around $120.00 including some various paint!

Just get the hp-c and call it a day.....It's by far superior and about the same price as everything else mentioned so far

those are kick ass ^^ but they dont sell em at hobby-lobby and you cant get 40% off!

no 40% off but check on airbrushdepot.com and its only $50 more than the badger. the only reason im leaning to the badger is because the 360-7 is either kind you might need its a siphon feed or a top fill cup. its two airbrushes in one. but i know the iwata is higher quality, but dont need that yet i havent airbrushed yet.

I think it really doesn't matter too much which one you get as long as it's a double action gun so you can practice control. Then when you are more comfortable and understand some of the differences in guns you can move on to an airbrush that will suit you needs better. The Passche VL is a good beginner airbrush. An Iwata HP-C is a step up. But a lot depends on what you intend to do with it, what viscosity or type of paint you intend to spray, etc. If you want keep cost down and just get your feet wet, you know, learn something go with a Passche.
