Hey i was wondering what everyone used to fill any holes in their dash. I really dont wanna use glass if possible, and was looking to something more of a urethane or similar epoxy that will fill holes and smooth them without the pain from fiberglassing. It is a chevy colorado dash, all plastic. thanks

mainly you need to use a fusor or an epoxy to fill the holes you need to use a kitty hair for more strength in the material and use gravity as a tool flip it upside down and use some packing tape to form a dam on the top make sure it sticks good dont make a mess its kind of hard to sand take your time to block it out

i agree with thisiswhy , then i would sand the entire piece as long as it is true moulded plastic, hit it with a plastics adhesion promoter and epoxy it and then prime it so sand out all the texture and the spots that were filled with glue and kitty hair. then paint . is this your plan?

what products do you all mainly use. Where can i get the fusor and epoxy. Does anyone online sell it. I called my autobody store, and they have no clue what i wanna do. They have a two part epoxy similar to what corvettes use and other fiberglass paneled vehicles to bond panels. thanks

if your plastic is ABS then use a plastic welder that is designed for abs plastic. if you go to napa auto parts the have all the permatex glues and all you do is match your plastic part to the proper glue. Plastic welder glue works on several types of glue and has an excelent bond. also SEM products makes a pannel bond adhesive that works with ABS plastic, the down fall to it is it takes over nite to kick and cure. then i have found that polly glaze coat filler from evercoat works will for smoothing out on ABS dash pannels.
