ok, just a quick question... more like a verification i guess. but am i right to say that it is bad to use a red or white audio RCA cable as a Video hookup? i had thought that even though they are all 'RCA' cables, they are still different since they are sending different types of signals.

Now before someone sits here and says "don't be cheap or lazy" and to just go buy the right cable, its for a small TV at home so it's not that big of a deal. but i was just double checking cause we started talking about it when we were doing trial and error while hooking up all this crap.

thanks for any input anyone may have. if you have any other general information or websites to refer me too feel free to post em. thanks

you can use it . It wont hurt anything. Only thing is if you had a good video cable the picture may be a little better but thats it

Yeah there really isnt any difference, But i would spend the few extra bucks and buy something that is well shielded. Video likes to pick up all kinds of interference. So the shielding should help a little with that.
