A friend of mine that has no interest in the air ride community ended up with some type of job a local lowrider shop that does some air ride on the side. He called me tonite asking if I was interested in helping them knock out a job on an s-10 they have scheduled to come in soon. I would be down if they would let me do it at my shop (SINISTAR CUSTOMS) but they want it done at there place. I have no clue what type of parts they want to use, And I dont wanna be helping out other shops when Im trying to get some business of my own. The thing is my shop is kinda of a side job type of thing, and I havent been able to work at my real job since July when I had a bad accident. I could really use some money right now though. What should I do?

Thats one you gotta weigh everything out on pros vs. cons and see which is more benificial. I take it the shops not far if your doing it on the side?

do it. if u do good work, the word will get around and customers should follow no matter where u go.

Check it out...go see what they have when the S-10 rolls into their place, give them an estimate if you havent already, that way you can see what you would have to work with, and it will either give you a warm fuzzy feeling or not.

I went out to talk to the other shop today and see whats up. They are supposed to be open from 2-10pm and I showed up about 3:30 and no one was there. Ive been to this place before numerous times and theyve been closed too. So that alone pretty much made up my mind on passing on this deal.

yeah, sounds like you made the best decision on that one Jason.

must be they dont have a 100% dedication to be open 2-10pm and they still cant open the doors on time. Good idea on passing.
