Drop the motor 1.5" or so. Section the oil pan and modify the drag link.

Get an early style valve cover with the slanted front. You can also get a low profile oil cap with an aluminum bung to get the cap down. But if you get the 73-78 ish era covers they come with a lower cap already.

Then you need to deal with the intake. Either shorten it yourself, or talk to Josh from RIC. He was selling some scratch built intakes that where pretty slick.

I run a 1/4" thick crossmember.

On the oil pan you should only need to remove the third sump. And there are a couple of ways you could do that. I did this one for a guy that wanted to retain stock oil capacity.

Basically a sump pan. Or you can just literally cut off the third sump and plate it. This was the first pan I did for my truck.

I lost about .3 quart capacity. You could easily gain that back with a remote oil filter.

$225 for my intake that josh at railit made and 125 for the motor mounts. The mounts aren't big enough for a drop to the doors but they work for laying rocker. I will throw in a old style round front valve cover for free if anyone buys either. prices are shipped.
