I just want to find out what has inspired most of the mini truckers today. This truck switched me over from the low rider scene to the mini truck scene. I grew up in San Diego and was raised around lowriders so i always has a passion for cars but this truck really got me into the mini truck community. The tilt bed had a lowrider influence to it that really inspired me. Keep in mind I spent most of my high school days in a small town called Fort Dodge Iowa where having a mini was un heard of for the most part. I think there may have been a total of 3 or 4. I was the laughing stock of my highschool because i rolled low. The people that gave me the most props were street rodders. Anyways here is the truck thtt did it for me. Share your stories.

the multi colored chevy fullsize on the cover of the first issue of Streettrucks. It was also in ads for prohopper for awhile. The other truck that inspired me is the TUKLUGZ toy. Unforunately I don't have pics of either one.

That green IF pro/stock truck inspired me to build my car. not that it looks anthing like it.just lots of body mods you dont notice.

The early days of mini trucks inspired my astro vans in the late 80s

there were a few in mags and shit but i think it was mostly just guys around town drivin there shit. i never had bags or anything but always wanted to drive a bagged truck. always just heard people bitchin they got trailored and to see em drivin was good enough for me. i was too far into it the second i "got it". never looked back.

first thing that got me into it was three things. i was always into lowriders like most people back in the day. then i seen a copy of minitruckin at meijer one day back in '99.

both of these cover rides really got me into the minitruckin scene. but the biggest was an early '90s mazda b-series that was on hydros, bodydropped, and shaved. i wanted to get a truck and this guy wanted to sell his and he let me test drive it by myself. people where starin at the bright ass lime green primer when i was rolling around the city and then i dragged on accident coming into a parking lot to turn around. it was one of the greatest feelings ever. i knew i was hooked from that day on!

the truck that inspired me was in truckin a long time ago. It was a 90's model fullsize extended cab. And i think it was yellow with crazy designs all over it. The picture that i remember was the truck pulled over with a bunch of girl in bikini's in it. And from then on i though, IF I BUILD IT THEY WILL CUM!!!!! LOL

The truck that got me into this was my cousins Candy Mazda on Enkies back in 88. After that I was hooked and My pops and I built my 79 D-50.

But a popular truck that really motivated to build my Nissan was Bobby's primer green Nissan that was in the FBI ads. That truck really made me want to do the Nissan.
