99 denali passlock

so i bought this thing a while ago put it in the garage. it sat like two weeks and bam, the battery died no problem new battery reset the passlock. but now my spare key doesnt work. So on to a ?. how do you get rid of the passlock, i can now only use one key nand both my wife and i drive it. thanks for your help in advance

You not get around the passlock. You will have to get the key programed at the dealership.

a similair problem with a 03 silverado,
i have a viper alarm with remote start and it has gotten to the point where i HAVE to remote start my truck because when i try to
start it with the key it will not start, just try to start then 10 min later will start.

Sittinonbody, Your problem is that someone used a POS DEI bypass module that cuts into your passlock system. Take it to a car audio shop, tell them you want that module out, the truck fixed, and then want a bypass from bypasskits.com installed. There is no cutting of your factory passlock wiring, just a couple splices. SO that this way, if the module dies...You can still start it with a key
