I wanted to get an aftermarket billet steering wheel for my honda accord. All the steering wheel adapter's I see are for racing steering wheels. Is there any polished, or billet steering wheel adapters that bolts right on for a billet steering wheel?

im assuming the hub will work with any steering wheel as long as the bolt holes all match up to screw the wheel onto the hub.

I couldn't find one, i thought I did but it didn't work. what I did was cut out the mount from the middle of my stock steering wheel. Then I made a flat plate/mount for it. Welded the two together and added a few inches to get the steering wheel where I wanted it. Then I got a steering hub for a fullsize chevy, cut out the middle of so my mount would go thru the middle. heres some pics. The flat part has 6 holes drilled and taped so the screws thru the steering wheel hold it all together.

hope that helps, if you want more pics or help let me know

heres is the stock center hub, plate and the extra few inches I addes to the stock hub

here I cut out the middle of the chevy hub

the pieces together

and what it looks like when done

Actually...the firewall is plated, the frame rails are done, tubing for the front is in,and I've got all my parts for my upper arms, just gotta weld 'em up, and it's on to the the back...might have a moving suspension by the first show of spring! I'll send you some pics.

P.S. The guy doing my fab work is the guy with the green BD cavi on the long ass topic about cars. (he gets to use the term BD, since it's full chassis front to back, and the floor's raised, 2"...I think...lol)

Dave

P.P.S. Trunk Bash...love it...by the way...I got our first run of flyers done, and they had some familiar skulls on them...I had nothing to do with it this time!!!
