4.6 to 5.4 32valve swap

My f-150 has the wimpy 4.6 engine in it and I know that a 5.4 3v engine is available for it so that swap would be real simple. I found a hell of a deal on a low mileage 5.4 32valve navi engine is the headache to swap this in worth it? Some areas to deal with supposedly variable valve timing and the drive by wire set up my truck uses, where the navi didnt. Any help is appreciated.

there was a big "how to" article in I think street trucks a while back about swapping a lightning motor. thats what im planning. it didnt seem that hard. ill try and find the issue and tell you what one it is.
