i have a 2.6 and it seems like it takes alot of power to turn it over.... i can let it sit for quite a while and it will have enough power to crank it once but if it doesn't start right up i have to jump it.. i have a volt meter and if it gets below 12 then it acts completeley dead (like 11.9 and it wont crank).. anyone had problems like this.. seems like maybe if i run a bigger wire to the starter it might help but i don't really know.

so the motor does run? if so try running a new ground to the motor from the battery or replace the battery.

i have my batt relocated to the bed ... the battery is good...it has 0 gauge ran to it and same with engine ground... i have it grounded to the frame ....

check the voltage at the battery with a digital multimeter or volt gauge with the motor running. chances are you might not be gettin a good 13-14 volts at the battery for it to charge. if the voltage is below 13 at idle at the battery, try running an 8 gauge wire from the alternator to the battery.

also check the voltage at the alternator while idling and make sure it is above 13

another good check similar to it is have someone turn the ignition and see if the altenator is getting the supplied voltage needed to start. that is one problem with putting your battery in the rear, you are not getting enough amperage moving the voltage through your 0 gauge wire to start it. are you running a heavy stereo as well??? or alot of electrical components coonected to the ignition.. u can be putting too much needed voltage to power everything at the iginition... also what type of battery are u using to start??? u may need an aftermarket battery, a good battery ive heard many great things about is a kinetic battery....

hope that will help you...
