Found an 80 toyota

I've been eyeing this 80 toyota 4x4 for about a year now. I stopped today, but nobody was home. I climbed under it and it looks like a solid truck. The only thing I'm really concerned about is the trail bruises on the bed. How easy is it to get a new bed. It has a small cancer spot in the pass fender. Does anybody have spare sheet metal for this truck. I'm pretty excited, I've been looking for a datsun for a while, but I've fallen in love with this truck. Seth where you at what is your opinon on it, what should I pay for something like this. Thanks!

those beds are a mutha-fuka to find. there was one on ebay last week in GA. you can also get a fiberglass one from toyotafiberglass.com - i had one of those back in the day but put on your seat belt when you ptrice the 'glass bed! are you keeping it a 4x4 or changing out the frame to drop it?

I don't know about your area, but it took me about 8 months to track down the bed I have right now. Its the nicest one I could find, and its far from straight.

Price wise what is it worth. I'm actually on my way there right now to see about buying it, and take some pics. I will try and post some pics tonight. What I mean by I'll try is, I will post a jacked up link, that will turn to the famos red x, and somebody will more than likely fix it for me.
