I took my stock lower control arms and shorten them to fix the camber after lowering the truck 5" all the way around.. Check it out and tell me what you think. Its the first time I did this!

looks good, but y not alignit w/ washers to fix it? or did you take 5 inches out of the spring? hows the bumpsteer?

I cut the springs.. The alignitment didn't work that way on the 02 ranger.. It rides like stock.. I had to shorten the steering rods.. ot all new shocks and sway bars bushings.. Rides great..

When you say shorten the tie rods, you mean just adjust them in or actually cut and shorten them? Do you got any pics of everything back together. I was thinking about shortening my lower arms too instead of raising the upper arm but i am very scared of bumpsteer

i would rather shorten the arm tehn raise the upper. he prob shortened the tie rods just by trimming a lil bit off the end of the inner.

All I did was took the tie rods off and cut 1/4-3/8 of an inch of the tie rod and the threads of the rack. It rides great.. I havent got it fully aligned but just by what we did, It barely pulled and the tires are straight.. I never couldn't feel anything in the steering and I ran it up to 80 MPH.. When I can get more pics I will post them
