On the front end of "First Blood" you used a uniball in the upper control arm. Does the uniball have the correct tapered shaft to fit the spindle or did you have to drill it out or weld something in? If it has the correct tapered shaft where did you purchase them from as I need to get a pair of them for a new project. Thanks in advanced!

I can't actually answer that question, but I do know HM engineering stocks quite a few tapered adapters for spherical rod ends. If you call them and tell them vehicle they probably won't know the taper, but if you know the taper they should be able to set you up with the right parts. I'd call them and ask about it.

Well i'm looking into other options now. Its hard to justify building a set of upper tube arms when the cost of the uniballs are pretty much $400.00 alone. With the cost of material and labor they woiuld be way to expensive.

You could do it for around $200 if you don't mind modifying the spindles.

I think thats what I might do. I've never ordered a set of uniballs before so i'm not quite sure what I need to order. Where can I get them for that price Seth?

what year toyota are you laying on a wheel that needs that much suspension travel?
TwistedMinis   +1y
I sent you a PM about it Chris.

Grant, I need that much travel on my truck. I'm thinking about going Uniballs all around and narrowing my clip so I can turn a little.

i paid like $200 for my uniballs and i had to get the spindle drilled out. it was on a 98 taco.
