stainless stell for a fuel cell

i recently built a fuel cell out of 1/8inch stainless. i got a 4x8 sheet of it for free from work and then one of the welders there welded it up. i turned out extremely nice. ill post pics tommroow. now my questions is, is it ok to build it out of stainless. i know its kinda late considering i already did it but i am curious if it is goin to be ok for gas. at work we run all kinds of chemicals through stainless, except gas and im not expert on stainless. some input would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, have run my custom made tank for three years now!!

they make stainless steel gas lines. Stainless Steel has good chemical compatibility with pretty much everything, there are exceptions:
