I currently have a 91 b26000i (2wd) and im getting ready to juice and bodydrop it. Im wanting to know the difference between the b2600i and the b2200? As far as when it comes to lowering and bodydropping it? Is there any reason i would want to sell this truck and get a b2200 or can i lower the b2600 just as easy? Thanks..Dee

Are you sure, cuase i thought i read awhile ago about somthing being different with the frame, or transfercase or somthing?

if its 2wd there is no transfer case and the only difference i have found so far between my 2600i and a 2000 or a 2200 is the upper controls on the 2000 and 2200 are about 1/2" shorter

The main difference between the 2 is the motor size, and the hood bubble.

The hood bubble follows the fuel injected models. The b2200i's and 2600i's have the bubble.

blah..i knew that. I meant bellhousing or whatever.. So i guess the only question left is if i bodydrop it a little past the pinch..(about 1.5-2inches past the door where it starts to bend in..) Will i have to lower the engine or will it fit?Dee

edit: is a stock b2600i > then a b2200 with a weber?

intake and exhause are on opposite sides from the 2200 and the 2600

only the carbed 2600 that mitsu made are different with the intake and exhaust, they lower just the same with all the same crossmember heights, im not sure if the hood will fit past the pinch, im pretty sure it will just to it.
