nissan hardbody oil pan pan gasket?

well i went to the auto part store last night to get a oil pan gasket for my hardbody. they told me that they dont have that part in there computer. but they do for the 4x4. so my question is, well this gasket work?

I'm not sure about the 4wd gasket but when I re-sealed my oil pan on my Frontier I was told the same thing. I ended up using some oil-safe sealant from Autozone. It's been a year and a half and it's still holding up.

jsut go to the dealer the gasket is only like 20$

Were you able to get one from the dealer? I tried to get one from them and they said one wasn't available and that they used the sealant too. Even when I pulled the pan of it was just sealant and no gasket. Like pugzli said give them a call, worst case is a 5 minute phone call.
