I bought my f150 out of a field 200 runs... previously bag'd
It needs fenders, passenger side door and bed.
I'm going through and redoing everything...
It's a single cab short wheel base v6 truck.
Plans for it are in order as listed
24's (not worried about heat and a/c will have a shaved firewall)
SFBD to the rockers maybe the doors haven't fully decided yet
fully shaved
lightning swap
full interior

Now I've got a few questions.
Has anyone ran 24s with a step side bed with out a lot of modifying of the flares? As this is important as it has no bed.
Whats the deal with the flipped spindles? Is this just to correct camber or does it actually give you more room to lay in the front?

thanks

you'll never be able to get 24s into the fender wells of a flaresidesearch ford spindle flip to find lots of info... but no it does not give you more room at all, in any way shape or form. the only reason the spindle flip was even used was because they didn't make a spindle up until about a year ago. and good luck getting that thing doored on 24s, it's going to be next to impossible, i know that there is one in the making but he's been building it for like 3 years now and don't even know if he was able to do it. good luck

oo ya... been a longggggg 3 yrs! i just really havent had extra time to work on mine... gotta pay bills first... yea 24's arnt really a good idea specially if you want to drive it.... go check out mike's f150 on 22's looks fucking sweet and he drives and drags the crap outta it...

deffiantly custom arms, mounts, narrow axle would help... billet's yea basically everything expensive

If its a 98 its been done already we did one at outlaw customs its the blue one in next months issue of street trucks i believe it is. We put a newer front end on it which gave it more room. The wheels were B.A.D. billet wheels. and theres plenty of room to untuck. It was at slamfest in doors.

damn well joel actually commented on his own truck. btw nice work on the interior joel I saw it over on ftw before i stopped going there

nate: is it all the blue one with the all fiberglass bed with tvs and subs in it? if so it covered last month was a very dope truck, but it didn't look like it was laying doors to me, only rockers. extensive did one to the rockers on 26s and they said the same thing about the only way that they were able to tuck them was because they did a front end conversionif this is it then it just doesn't look doored as a matter of fact i think i still see the rocker

Well i'm not really worried about if its been done before or not... just looking for a new toy
When I look at the truck 24s just seem like they set it off so, thats what im intending on doing
i plan on having it done for scraping the coast this summer if not sooner

You asked about 24's on a step side ,the one in the pic is a fleet side. Catch22 body dropped his on 22's and had to cut his flares and move them up a couple inches.
