quick ? do 82-92 frames have the same body mount locations as 92 and up???? im wanting to build a new frame and dont want to cut up my daily while its being built, and i had a 82-92 frame givin to me for a template, but my truck is a 2000...... thanx in advance for the help

A buddy of mine used a newer model frame, and he did have to change the front bumper mounts and I THINK that was all he really had to do, and mess around with the tranny x-member a bit, but other than those 2 items, it pretty much bolted right up. There are some noticable differences though, as in where the boxing of the frame stops versus the 1st gen.

i plan on doing a stock floor bd, v8 conversion. the only part of the frame i really need is the front clip i just needed to know if the body mounts are in the same place so i dont build it, and have to end up rebuilding it

the bumper mounts are the only real difference that would hurt your body bolting back up...

will a 94 s10 blazer body fit/be able to use a 89 s10 single cab frame???/
