To answer your question you most likely will be have to custom one-off those parts. Reason being for what has been said above. I have neen heard of or seen on air yet. And if your macpherson struts you can use air cylinders only strut bags and you will get hardley any movement. plus you can only go so far before you cv-axles will bind up.

i know for a fact an sti was bagged, but it was probably cylinders, near me in ohio. he worked at a suby dealership too. i would love to see some bagged. i got one and see no problem with it. of course many may frown upon it for their own reasons, but hell, do it for yourself. who cares about the haters.

and about the speed part being the reason not to bag it, i didn't see too many people hatin on the bagged vettes, old school camaros, or the viper. plus, so many old hot rods are bagged. they are fast. i just wanna see a build up of a wrx or sti soon!!! lol

MIC will make brackets for any car if you can send them the stock struts. I had to call them when my buddy wanted to put some cylinders on his toyota mr2

Air cylinders on a car that uses a strut suspension isn't very safe. Not only will you risk breaking a shaft or the cylinder, but they will wear out VERY fast. Once the seals are loaded up and then you force them to turn they will wear out. The side loads that a strut goes through is nowhere near what a cylinder is designed to handle. THe body of it can start to balloon. Ive tried it with a Parker Xair cylinder that EAI developed years ago. Here in NY, they wouldnt hold up for over a month. It was a pain to replace them so we just went to the UAS aero strut bags. They slip right over the factory strut. You may be able to use them with a shorter bodied strut to get even more drop than the factory strut will allow.

Check out Praxis. They make performance air suspension systems for vehicle. I know they make them for the older subarus but you can call and find out more info.

as a minitrucker with a lowered 07 wrx i would advise against it but its your car do with it what you want tho i would recomend some nice springs and 18x8.5 wheels and just make it look mean but thats my opinion

i was searching for the same thing and found this thread so i thought i'd throw in that during my search i found streetridepro.com. they have a kit for imprezas, but it's in a bag tower, not a cylinder. also it's an AIM product so idk how you feel about that, alot of people i know say AIM is crap, but i've never used them

so im not sure how many of these cars have been put on air ride! but let me tell the bolt on kit is far from bolt on.. the fatory top hats must be customized to fit the so called bolt on struts.. and the bottom mounting bracket of the air struts up front are far from fitting without welding in the holes and making you own! other then that it came out nice so far! we are going to take it back in the garage before scrapin and see what needs to be done to get it lower!

for all the haters keep your " i cant see why you bagged a subi b/s out of this topic" if you like it cool if you dont cool! dont mind if you do or dont! but not going to listen to the post about why did you do that!
