I am in the market for a press for the shop. Just curious what everybody might be using. I don't need anything to nice but I have looked at the ones they sell at HF. For the cost they don't seem to bad. Thought about building one but for what it would cost in steel and the jack I could buy the HF one, although building one is still not out of the question. For big stuff I have access to up to 800 ton presses at my regular job, lol!
They don't look bad. I may get one myself, but I would want the air/hydro one. Or adapt a hydro unit to it. I'm over the whole pumping thing now. I figure it would do most things I need, and if not, my uncle has a 50 ton Dake.
