1st Gen S-10 & Blazer guys...

does an 85' s-10 have the same body mounts as an 88' blazer...please help any info will help...L8TR

looks like all the hardware is the same, however the large "cushion" the rubber piece is different from the pick ups to the blazers, at least the part numbers are different between the blazer and pick up.

no frame is differnt, same front clip.

the front cab mount will be the same other than that different

I have had a problem starting yesterday... everytime i turn on my lights it makes the high pitched noise like my blazer isnt running and the key isnt in it... very annoying... driving down the road at night and having to listen to that shit

sounds like some wierd wiring issues right there....if you cant trace it, remove the panel under the steering column, the "buzzer" is pretty much above the hood release lever, its a white square box, that connects to a pig tail, the horn relay is right there too, just pull it out.

pull out the pig tail?

pull the buzzer box out of the pig tail cluster. its a white square box and its the biggest one on that cluster, if you remove that panel off the dash under the steering column, it is right next to the brake release, it should be plain as day...right at the front of the dash.

I had asked this question in the minitruckin general forum but the info was limited, anyway, I asked this question because my brother slammed into some baffoon that ran a stop and to add the icing on the cake the SON OF A B!#@H took off, with that being said his chasiss tweaked on he driver the driver side and since we have a blazer chasiss doing nothing but collecting dust and occuping room we were aondering if it was possible to switch chasiss and with what kind of modification....L8TR and thanks for the info!
