could i cut a hole in the under side of the frame to run the lower link bars somewhat inside the frame? and plate it on the sides. i was thinking about it but never seen it done.

I had the lower links in my 2001 Tacoma done like that. To this day there hasn't been a problem with it.

I've seen 4WD guys do it with leaf springs too. I don't think you'll have an issue.

so you just cut a hole then plated both sides?? and seth do you build 4 links??

That's actually really common with the older car crowd that are trying to squeeze fatter tires in their car.
