I am in the middle of hooking up my EDC in my ranger but I have a couple of questions. Thanks JIMMY

1) Right now I have 2 Viair 380's hooked up to my ignition wire. I want to use these as my back up in case the EDC takes a crap. Can I just remove the connection from the ignition wire and hook up the Viairs to a seperate switch? Would it need to be fused since I am already using a relay?

2) When I hook up my EDC can I just hook it to the pressure switch (165,200) then to the ignition wire and do I need to fuse it some where?

For the price of a fuse and holder I fuse everything. better safe than sorry.

I run a york and a viair 420. I run the york on a 200 psi switch and the viair on a 150 switch.
I run both through separate relays, and both are fused for safety. Treat each circuit as if the other circuit wasn't there. That way, if anything goes wrong with one, the other will not be affected.
