Anyone ever used painless wiring harness? I need an engine and trans wiring harness for my 99 chevy 3500 with a 454 and cannot seem to locate one anywhere. (if someone thinkks they may have one please contact me 270-668-7745) Painless sells a harness for it but I don't know if its a direct plug in or what? Kinda pricey but would be worth the money if it had all the plugs and was a direct replacement. Any thoughts or info is greatly appreciated. THANKS

i ran one last year in my 94 noma when i small blocked it. ill admit i was a little intimidated at first, but damn was i fooled.we are average do it your selfers and comfortable doing wiring, but i didnt think i could do it. i would suggest painless to anyone out there in a heartbeat. they are beyond thorough, detailed, and just badass. we wired my whole truck in a few hours front to back. it was so easy. everything is marked every 4 inches or so, and is numbered. then in the manual you can look at the chart to match up the colors and numbers. it somes complete with prefused block, connectors, zipties, ect. i bought the 18 circuit universal kit with gm column . its plug and play. i have talked to people that have wired all kinds of vehicles including, s10s,,impala,gto,55 pickup,montes,c10,and a 2000 gmc 3500. some of these people i talked to in person, some of them on forums. when i talked to summit before buying it, they told me the gm column kit would work for s10s through duallys. i know this is a long reply, i just wanted to give you my experience with them. good luck man. any questions , ask away.
