I recently picked up a damaged/burned Mini Truckin featured 97 Ranger (Kut2Tuk) from my friend Ranger Dave. Since I've had it we have been working almost every nite to get it ready for the show season. I'm hoping to have it done by the end of July hopefully so then i can get back to the Cutlass build. It used to be a flare side now its gonna be a straight side. I had to rewire the tailights, fuel pump and sender (almost done). I'm running a bolt on rollpan (probably gonna get ripped off) and just shaving the gate to match the bed. This project is just to get it back running again and out for the season then after the cutlass is done it is going back under the knife to get put back to how it was in Mini Truckin (striaght bed version at least). The next build will include a custom molded rollpan, power retractable license plate, bigger rims, shortened and suicided tailgate and a better rear suspension (doesnt get much lift right now). Tell me what you think....

Yeah it was the one with the crazy tail lights. I'm gonna redo them on the straight side bed when i do everything final. I always liked those tail lights when he had it so I'm gonna redo them. Also the fenders have the same shape as the taillights vented inward so it would match again.

never cared much for the truck, but Ive liked the cutlass for awhile. However...please tell me those tubs on the cutlass are just chilling and you are not going to have to big of wheels sticking through the hood!

The wheel tubs are just chillin there. The wheels are gonna stay happily under the fenders/hood where they belong. I'm gonna use the tubs you see chilling to smooth in the whole under hood area. I got those a bunch of small square tubing and a bunch of 12 gauge sheetmetal to smooth it all out with. After that is done a completely smooth 400 hp olds motor will get slid into place. But before all that i gotta finish the Ranger.

I had forgotten about this truck burning. What happened to it again?

It was a fuel related fire is all he ever gathered i believe. The truck was wired and plumbed very well so its anyone's guess. He wasnt draggin when it happened either. Everything survived from the cab wall forward just fine. No burned together wires or anything so it's been going smoothly so far. The worst part is gonna be buffing all the oxidation off the motor's several random polished pieces.
