In the progress of bodydropping one and im need to know what offset some 20" smotthies will have to be??? On centerline's website the smoothies only come in a +19mm offset. Will that oddest be enough to tuck on the truck???

Thanks

i seriously doubt it... but someone else may chime in. what year is the truck?

because its measured from the wheel centerline, offset means absolutely nothing without stating width.

I think you need offset in the +25 to +30mm range for a 7 inch wide wheel, and it only goes up from there as you add width. The front tends to tuck easier because of camber.

ok its a 94 spacecab and on centerline's website its say the wheels are a 20x8.5 with 5.4" of rear spacing and the offset is +19MM. Hope this helps and gives my the answer I am looking for!!!

it wont tuck even a little with a +19 8.5... You'll need to narrow the rear.

when I ordered wheels for my spacecab they were 4.5 backspace 7 inches wide and they came right to the fender edge. On an 8.5 you would add the whole 1.5 to the backspace, so you'll need 6" backspace at minimum.

You can run amigo fenders in the front and add the flares to the back though. Or narrow the rear and hope the front tucks.

Oh Russ and I am putting a Toyota rearend in the truck. And I think it's around 2" shorter than the isuzu one. What about the front???

I think you'll be ok, because of camber. definitely gonna feel full though!
