I'm stockflooring my 81 Mazda B2000 and am ready to do my cab mounts however I would like to replace the rubber with some poly urethane ones. I checked with Energy Suspension and they dont have Cab mounts for any mazda pickups. Does anyone know were I could find some or another alternative? I not cutting into the stockfloor so finding something that would bolt right in would be nice.

the problem with using s10 poly mounts (there are a hundred kits to do that) is that the s10 mount setup has a top and bottom bushing, so you need more room on the bottom. But when you stockfloor a mazda the front mount almost hits the ground as it is.

If it helps you decide though, rubber has better isolation properties than poly, that why poly works better in suspension is there is less 'give'. I'd just order new stock mazda mounts.

just go cut a circle out of a rubber bed mat.

Problem solved.

Russ do you know were I could find some regular replacement rubber mounts then? I was still planning on using 4-Link poly rod ends for the mounts under the bed. Does anyone have any experience with this?

i made new ones myself. with some pipe and 1/4 plate with about 3/8 of poly inbetween the mount and cab, they were like 50 bucks each at the dealer so i made my own. go to mcmastercarr.com and order up some polyurethane.
