Can any body tell me what the mesurment from the top of the frame rail to the bottom of the notch was on there S-10 before they cut it out? I am building my notches today out of 2x3 3/16 wall and need to know how tall I need to make them. I am running a 255/35/20 on the back and i want it to lay when I am done.

Tape measure is all you need man. measure how high off the ground your frame is, and then thats how high the axle needs to go up. its not rocket science. Just make sure to take your wheel OD into consideration if you don't have the 20s on the truck right now.You really don't need much notch to lay a 20 on an s10. Not sure if you got this far yet but heres a sketch. You can just change the length measurements as you need but the angles work out nice.

Thanks man I wish I would have seen that drawing before I went to work to start. I did my miters at 25 degs and I have 6 inch span in the bottom. I think ill be alright because I am doing an equal lenght tri 4 link so I should'nt have any forward or aft movement in my travel. Ill post pics of how far I got today as soon as my boss e mails me the pics from the shop.
