Here is my problem. I bought a set of HID headlights for my girlfriend for her birthday. They were suppose to be plug and play with the wiring, but I guess a PT Cruiser does not put out a 12v constant while running so I needed an extra wiring piece that maintains just the 12v which the HID's require. That was information that I found out after installing them. They would only work when the car was off...ha Well now I am just going to sit on the kit for a while until we decide whether or not to keep it.

Here is the problem. I put the factory bulbs back in and the low beams do not work now?? I have tried everything... The bulbs are both fine, so I know that is not the problem. The high beams DO work? When connecting the volt meter the low beam sockets have no power? I have looked at every fuse in the compartment under the hood and all are good?? Is there another fuse box somewhere else in the car?? Is there a possible "low beam relay" somewhere that could have been damaged?? I just dont know what it could be since the high beams do come on?? The PT is a pretty much base model 2006 touring.. Any help would be greatly Appreciated!! I would rather not take it in to the dealer as it could get pretty costly for something im thinking is just a minor problem....

I can't find a relay for the lights on AllData. Sooo... might've melted a wire in the switch or something. 2006 should be under warranty still right. Just dont tell 'em you messed with the lights. lol

Yea I tried looking for a relay as well and couldnt come up with anything. Thats the first thing I thought of was damaged wires. Nothing I could physically see. And you are right on it would be a little hard to take it to the dealer saying I installed an HID kit, if they even know what it is ha... Any more ideas?? Thanks chubbz
