shaving my dashboards

few questions. does anybody know what brand would be the clearest resin? bondo brand is pretty brown. stuff at work is yellowish.

also, anything wrong with cottonballs as filler material? i just fixed my gfs rollpan that way. bit "buildy" but it seemed okay. i forgot to snag chop and mat at work. haha.

just got the first stage of shaving stuff off my rc dash. works decent. i ask about the color for making my own lenses via molds and casts. thanks.

got random chop and woven cloth. i should be good now. thanks guys. ill get pictures up later.

and heres the kicker, i got my girl to help me out on it. im doing it on the back porch of my apartment with it suspended between two steel folding chairs. haha...minitruckin. gotta love how bad we want to do this stuff.

so, i got the dash speaker and ash tray shaved on my ramcharger dash. and im most the way through shaving the ashtray/lighter and dash speakers on my yota. gonna suck sanding it down without air tools. pics will be up in a little while.

i guess. nobody felt like chiming in. i just kept putting updates for my day. SSM = my myspace. haha.

heres some pics. is only for vinyl wrap, not paint. except the rollpan, thats getting bodywork tomorrow.

this is what i have to work with for doing this.rc dash speakerrc ash trayrc ash trayyota dash speakeryota dash speakeryota ash tray, first steprollpan for the 83 dodge. got it cracked but free.inside. next time no cotton balls for cracks, just heavy fill. maybe. ugly.

yes, im mixing it in cut up pop cans. and the yota speakers will get a coat from the inside too. and the rc ash tray needs the fill on the outside gaps. probably grind this all down at work. i dont care if i have half a dash in my yota for a few days. rc thats an extra.
