exhaust

im looking for a good exhaust for my crx in the 100 to 200 range. i used to have a flowmaster 40 series on it and it sounded good till it got stolen. it was a high pithced tone though. right now im running a fart cannon. its loud annoying but has a deep tone. any suggestions for deep tone and deciently quite?

I know my magnaflow was deep sounding on my accord, but loud. Mind you all my piping was bigger then stock and my resonator was gone.

im also running a aftm header, flow through cat and 2.5 inch tubes. i need to get rid of the fart can cus it drowns out my stereo lol. thats saying alot too.

The 2.5 inch piping is WAY to big for a crx, and will create more db out of your exhaust no matter how good a muffler you have. I really doubt your 1.5 or 1.6 liter needs anything bigger than a 2 inch pipe, unless is is seriously built and even then for the street a 2.25 would be more than enough. It is obviously not turboed, in which case 2.5 or bigger would be OK.

I might suggest borla they have a nice tone, are stainless, and are less than 200 dollars, and if you want to keep the thieves away get it in the brushed finish, and have it tucked up high with a tip that is no bigger than the actual piping so it looks more stock.

thankyou for the help. i cant remember if my pipes were 2 or 2.5 would you suggest droppin the hi flow cat?

does anyone have a the delta 60 series from flowmaster? what does it sound like?
