4.3 idling extremely high!

yep...up around 2800-3000 range. any suggestions? i pulled the t.b. off to mount up a new intake, got it all reassembled and this is where i am....thanks

if there is a tear in the intake gasket it will idle high.

are you saying intake as in the throttle body gasket or the actual intake gasket? also, if i unplug all of the sensors, it runs like a dream!

you could have a leak in the intake gasket, a loose vaccuum(sp?) line, or a bad IAC.
