I just had a head rebuilt for my truck. I bought rocker arms off of a B2000 and had them put on my B2200 head. Can I run the 2200 cam or do I need one from a b2000? Is there any difference?

Does anybody know were I can get a bigger cam. They used to be on feebay all the time but I haven't seen one in a while. They ran about $150.

try no limits customs for the performance cam. they have a few different grinds. the cams interchange. if you have the b2200 cam use that. the head is the same between the two engines besides the lifters

There is some info about this type of swaping on mazdatruckin.com i think. Might be worth a look too.

Performance grinds on this truck are a waste of time, for the money you would be happier with putting a fidanza flywheel in there. The valvetrain stock can hardly keep itself together much less with any performance regrind.

The B2000 and B2200 cams are the same specs but the lobe ramps are different to accomidate the mechanical and hydraulic setups. The B2000 cam will be better to use with the mechanical rocker arms but it isn't critical.
