Z-ing frame

I was wondering if you have to z the frame as much as you body drop it. like if you body drop a truck 3", do you have to z the frame 3" also.

No. You only need to Z the frame as much as it hangs below the rest of the frame. But you have to drop your frame horns the amount of the Z, as well as the amount of your bodydrop.

so the frame horns would be the area where the front of the body mounts to the frame correct? that would have to match the amount of bd?

Yes.

if by front of body you mean the core support/radiator/grille. yes. thats correct. just to clarify.

so if you do a 3 inch body and a one inch z youd have to do a 4.5 inch drop on frame horns

^ Well, when I ad 1+3 I don't get 4.5, but you're on the right track.

if you did a 1.5 Z you'd be right.

Ok. I know you did a write up on this on a few sites seth. but do you or does anyone have pics that shows the frame horn and the front of the body during a body drop
