Ok with gas prices getting so out ragest, and being a poor b*stard lol ive decided to get rid of my hoe and pull out my mini again. Is there anyone out there who drives there bagged ranger daily? what about bagged and bd ranger daily? I was thinking about going ahead and putting a toyota front clip under my ranger, cause i want to help the camber issue.......anyone out there?>

just wondering what kind of problems they might encounter....i had a s10 bagged on 17s i drove daily in highschool, and a 92 1500 on 22's that i drove daily too. Well the ranger aint got no heat and a/c, but when i was driving it daily i like to ride so low that i wore the front inner tires out in about 2 months, or 3000 miles. i am abuout to finally get it z'd, which i know will help a little bit, ive been looking into control arms, but no1 makes a set yet unless the custom make them. whats the best way to help fix the front end problem, i just want to be able to roll low in my ranger i like i planned on doing when i bagged it. tires aint cheap anymore, along with gas, also does any1 have any pics of different ranger bed covers for a fleetside? and possibly pics of your wiring harness relocated?

I custom made my bed cover out of 14 g sheetmetal, and I dont have any new pics but all my wiring is behind the dash. The z isnt going to help much with the camber it will just let the truck lay more level.

I used to drive mine daily, fittings will leak, stuff can break but as long as teh work is good and you have your alignment right at a certain psi you should be fine.

I drove mine daily before the BD, when it still had I-beams, and it done great, as long as you can keep it at ride height while your driving fast(lol). My truck also didnt have heat, air or windshield wipers, just had to be sure to keep rain-x and anti fog in the truck handy. You can raise the uppers a little, that will help with the camber.

I drive mine to work about 3 to 4 times a week in the spring, summer, and that is a 60 mile round trip each day. I still have I-beams. My alignment is set at 40 psi, and that equals out to be 3" off the ground. If it rains I swear by rain-X, and fog-x. if it is like 30 degrees I just throw another shirt on.

i drive mine daily and as long as ur bags rn't rubbing ( like mine were ) and ur drive shaft isn't rubbing ( like mine was ) then u should be fine i haven't had any other problems then the ones i have mentioned

get your alignment set a ride height...keep your fingers off the switches and run a stiff set of shocks up front. As long as you are on I-beams, your camber will not be good, but the stiff shocks will help.
2 things you can check on...I-beams "can" be cut and rewelded where you are aligned for ride height ( get someone who knows how to weld cast, and plate it well) also, AIM used to sell an I-beam alignment kit. It actually worked surpringly well..it is just a metal bushing that will allow you to push the upper part of your spindle out. I dont know if they still have them.
