Will that pigtail thing work from factory taillight wiring to the LED that just has black and red wire on the back of it???

i actualy have a way to do this with a realy common item....i was playing at work....(gm dealer) and had a 3rd brake light off a tahoe that was 2 wire and wanted to see if i cound make it dim for park lamps and bright for turn and brake lamps and the first thing i tried worked realy well....its so simple...i figured it out by disabling drl lamps on a cop car.....heres how...you take a common relay found in any car. use just the coil side run the park lamp voltage through the coil on the relay..it acts like a resistor and dims the lamps....then you take the turn signal and brake lamp wire and bypass the relay to make the light brighter..it is that simple. u just need 2 relays...one per side and and some common eletrical connectors. thats my good deed for the day. kent tx
