Good (FAST) webost?

I have been using dreamhost for a few months but they really have been sucking it up. They've had outages and now they can't keep a decent speed going for anyone. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a reliable host that can run a php/sql driven site at a decent speed?

i used 1 and 1 for alittle while, and never had any troubles out of them...

i'll look into that, anyone else?

I believe most host have a php sql option.
I use to have yahoo hosting. They didn't give me any problems but I switched to Godaddy.com They have a few php programs you can add to your site.

my host has the option but it's terribly slow, that's the problem

Another good thing I like about godaddy is that I can host all my domains under one hosting account. That is what got me. Godaddy is hard to beat for the money. As far as speed, there might be a few others that are faster but still worth the few dollars I spend a month

I decided to go with midphase and they've been 10x the host DreamHost ever was...so far anyway.

I've been thinking about a change too, but only one sql database? that won't work.
