i was gonna buy a sand blasting machine, but i found out that sand is very harmful, so I was wondering if anyone ever used baking soda, if so, where can i geta 100lb bag of it?

id try a local blasting shop...they should be able to point you in the right direction..

whats wrong with grade 4 blasting sand? ive used it alot. try ur local hardwarw store 4 it.

There a specific "sand" made for blasting that is very fine. Theres also a company that makes a pretty crazy product that only removes paint, and won't damage plastic, rubber, or even glass. I can't remember the name. They came to a place I worked at with a demo once, and stripped a Volvo in front of us in like 45 minutes with no prep.

i like the idea of soda blasting...pick up the paint and wash the soda down...and no sand to deal wit
