ok, I know this has been asked but i only found one thread on this topic and it didnt answer my question. just got done re-doing the front setup of my truck for RE-7s. Worked out great and gets mad lift(almost 11" total). i know alot of people who swear that shocks are a neccesity and then there are others who have never ran shocks in the front and love it. Anyway, I want to run shocks but dont know what kind is best to run in the front I have rear shocks already and would like to get monroes for the front also. Are the double eyelet shocks better to use or the shafted ones, as I have seen a ton of both. And i for one would like to see this thread as a "sticky"or whatever they are, so that others can view this thread in the future. Thanks in advance guys.

cant help you but i did recommend a shock sticky in the Max forum since he gets asked so much. maybe theyll do it. so +1 for the sticky.

depends what you're really looking for.. I have had nothing but excellent results with using Monroe replacements for 85 Lebaron v6 rear shocks.. i use em front and rear. this means you'd have to use double eyelet shocks on the front.. you can try to find a front replacement with a stud if you must.. but these shocks ride VERY VERY well and have a 8 or 9" stroke

Well we run nothing but 31000 Monroe and they work great.
