Repo man....

After reading a story about record repossessions this year on both houses and cars. I was just wondering......how would someone repo a bodied vehicle. For instance, my truck (Payed off so there's not a chance just an example), Doored, air inoperable unless key is on, valves out of reach, etc. If something is layed the fuck out, how can it be towed. I know there's some repo men on this site, so chime in. Is it possible without fucking up the truck or what.

i was told by a tow man not a repo man, when he towed my previous truck (bagged not bd'd) that if he had to he could tow it. he said he could get it done but it wouldnt be pretty. he said he would just drag it up on the tow truck. he said he'd start by pulling the bumper. if it ripped off, he'd hook to whatever else. framehorns or whatever. he said he'd been a tow truck driver for a while and said he could make it happen. so id imagine a repo man would give 2 shits about the truck being layed out. it would be a lil harder but id imagine they'd eventually get it. not easily,quickly,or quietly though.

yea my old truck was hauled off by a rollback from the ins company after it was totaled, and it had no bags or wheels... he just drug it up onto the rollback...

i was told by a tow truck driver, that it wouldnt matter...it was going on his truck however he had too.

Repo men get paid by the car, if its there, we will get it. If its a fairly new car/truck, we get key codes and cut keys, put go jacks under the wheels and push it, whatever. Or you just keep an eye on it and stake it out , eventually someone will air it up.

my jetta just got repo with no wheels just blocks. they just dragged it.

My buddies SS camero got repoed a while back and it was on blocks under his shed.. Had his dully behide it so they wouldn't get it but they dragged the dully out of the way and hooked to the camero.. lol He was inside alseep! Bad thing was he just built a roll cage in it..

i doubt they moved the dually out of the way if they did they could be in trouble an blocking a vehicle in is withholding property anyways jus remember you have to eat, sleep,work, shop at some point repo men work around the clock its not if they are going to get it its when my sis has been repoing for about 6 years an my bro for almost 12-13 years ive been on plenty of runs you would be suprised of how tight of places they can get into.. an i agree if you payed your bills you wouldnt have to worry about it but as long as people dont pay their bills repo men will be paying theirs LoL

a friend in az had his body dropped mazda repoed. they just hooked up and dragged it off. He said he followed the drag marks all the way to where they were holding it.
