what to do with it? triangulate it behind the arm? it seems that it would hit the frame at the same pivot point?

I don't have any good pics of how I did mine but you can check out Seth's control arms on his Toyota on here. That is exactly how I did mine. His s/n is Twistedminis.

I ran mine to the front, pics in my profile. Or you can un control arms that eliminate the strut rod completely.

several dif ways you can do...
move them over and up on the front crossmember, just would have to make new mounts up front and redrill holes on the bottom control arms...

or do like the Old Mustangs do ... build a reverse bar that connects to the lower control arm and bolts to the frame with bushings....

The cheapest way would be to relocate your strut rods like Ice said.

Next option, little more expensive, you can also triangulate the stock control arm fairly easily, and its becoming pretty common now.

The last option, although the most expensive it is the nicest looking option there is. Tube control arms. Cando makes nice arms for Nissans right now.

Heres what i just did to a fronter i bagged its pretty much the same for the hardbody and it was far from hitting the frame layed out on 18's.

thanks guys i did just triangulate them...i must have been blind when i looked at it because there was lots of room to do it.
