i THINK its the same for the 84-88..but i know a 2.5 will put the 89-95 on the rockers provided that your rails are layin flat...this is a 2.5" bd on mine

THANKS GUYS,(LUCKY) HOWS YOUR BABY DOING?BY THE WAY HE'LL BE RUNNING A 18X7" WITH A 215-40/ OR A 225-40. (TREVOR701). THANKS FOR THE INPUT AND PICS. WERE STILL WORKING ON GATHERING SUSPENSION PARTS AND WE HAVE TO BRING IT TO MY HOUSE TO DO THE BD. THE LESS GUESS WORK THE BETTER.THANKS AGAIN GUYS

with an 18x7 you should be able to get away with using a clutch master cylinder out of an older toyota without having to move it..i did that on my tacoma..youll prob have to tub the firewall just a bit tho for those. for the cuts on the firewall and back wall..try to cut them so that when you drop the cab down the top and bottom line back up or overlap just a hair, then u can just weld them back together and you wont have lay a ton of patches over everything and it will look cleaner and be easier to weld up..and grind it all to metal Before you cut it..makes life easier

hes doing good man. thanks for asking. hes ended up having quite the kidney/bladder issues. makes for one hell of a cranky baby! as far as what trevor is saying. that sounds about right but keep in mind the 84-88 body style is a bit smaller then the 89-95 so it might be a bit more difficult to stuff that 18 laid out up front. im a toyota guy but BY FAR a fab/chassis/bodywork guy! deff get it on the rails first! a Z will be a must as well!

u sure they are smaller? maybe front to back..but not height wise..cuz LoAsian is running 22s on his 84-88 on the rockers..and theres no way in hell i could fit them on mine without them sticking over the fenders

yeah to lay rockers is 2.5" and as far as the firewall tubs are concerned it's not very bad.

look at my profile. mine's an 88 with the pinch cut off & i only went 2 1/4" & stock engine location & the stock hood closes. the firewall tubs depend on your wheel/tire size, but mine's setup for 19's (only have 17 on it, but in case i change my mind later) relocating the clutch wasn't very hard either.

good luck!
